Description
When we talk about image size we might mean a number of different things:
• The number of pixels in the image
• The aspect ratio
• The file size
• The size the image is viewed on screen
• The printed size
It is important to realise that these are indeed very different things and should not be confused with each other.
This 10-page downloadable PDF article attempts to decipher what these terms mean and their significance to us as photographers with regard to image quality and what we can do with our images.
The PDF file can be downloaded upon purchase. You will need software on your viewing device capable of reading PDF files, for example Adobe Acrobat Reader. Most devices will already have suitable software installed.
