Introduction to Film Photography

Venue:   Moulton Community Centre, Northants

Price:   £60 (3hr morning or afternoon session)

If you would like to get into film photography but don’t know where to start, this half-day course will get you up and running with all the basics you need to start taking pictures with film.

You will learn about:

* Types of film and cameras

*  ISO, aperture and shutter speed

* Exposure metering

* Focusing

* Using Film Cameras

* Loading and unloading the film

* Output options

* Buying used film cameras and equipment

* and much more

This course will provide in depth knowledge suitable for use in all photographic genres including landscapes, sports, action, portraits, architecture, etc.

Whilst this is a classroom based workshop, you should bring your camera with you so that you can learn where the relevant controls are on your equipment and understand how to use them.

With a maximum class size of just eight and two tutors there will be the opportunity for one-to-one attention to ensure that you are getting the most from the session.

The workshop will be held at Moulton Community Centre in Northamptonshire and subject to availability you can choose a morning or afternoon workshop.

* Morning workshops commence at 9.30am and finish at 12.30pm.

* Afternoon workshops commence at 1.30pm and finish at 4.30pm.

Please note that this course is for FILM cameras only. Compact (point & shoot) and Polaroid-type instant cameras are not suitable. If you are in any doubt please contact us. Once you are sure your camera is suitable and wish to book, please advise us of your camera make and model in the ‘notes to seller’ during the checkout process so we can make sure we are familiar with that model prior to your arrival.
